Why? Or maybe, why not? It is a designated "holiday", but the question is whether or not we celebrate it, and just "how?," if we do? Do we celebrate it quietly alone, reflecting on just what it means to ourselves individually, or do we join others and be a part of their celebrations? Whichever we choose, it's our choice. Either way, my hope is it's a day of thankfulness for the most precious gift ever given, Our Savior. The gifts we exchange are because of the LOVE we extend to those around us for this priceless gift. In my own mind, I have to stop and think on this as families gather for a yearly celebration with friends and much merriment. Do we celebrate a Savior, or is it something less? Let's rejoice with a celebration of "Christ the reason for the season"!
