A Time Of Hope

Many of us go through a lot of confusion when rushed with thoughts of what to do first. Such as birthdays, upcoming holidays, and decorating for them, fixing just the right foods for the get-to-gathers. We get it a lot of trouble trying to please others with no thought that we too, have limitations.
Loving our families, we treasure everything about them, although we may disagree with things they may do and say. Sometimes we may dwell long on what WE may see as their shortcomings, and miss their best qualities. That would be called "judging", something we have a constant fight within ourselves about. In this season, I would encourage others, as well as myself, to pause and think of all the blessings we each have on a daily basis. It will surprise each of us, and the little things that annoy us ,will seem so small.
If you have been hurt, there are words from a song "Praise the hurt away!" Yes, give it all to God, He still answers prayer.
Til next time,
grandma
