Fall Already!
Makes me feel like a "rip van winkle" person! Summer is gone, once again and we are beginning to see the colors of fall fast approaching and falling leaves. It is beautiful, although we may soon long for the warmth of summer days soon. The town I live in has some streets that have beautiful old trees that show a lot of color in the fall season. I always enjoy slowly driving down the bumpy brick street and admiring the neatly kept homes. Brings to wonder about the families that lived there a century ago. Who were they? What things they may have enjoyed? Did they ever think someone might one day think of them? What were they most concerned about? I'm sure many were affluent people, and probably passed down to younger generations many ideas. If you live in an old house, as I do, do you wonder these things? Makes me wonder just what can I pass to my only living heir, a grand daughter. Will she even care? A lot of questions I have, and no answers. I've put together all the genealogy on my and my deceased husbands family I can find for her. I want her to know who she is, and that I love her with all of my heart. Yes, God loves her even more.
